Originally from Etowah, Tennessee, both of my parents were very religious. My Mom always took me to church where as a young child I sang. I even have a picture of me in church playing a ukulele and singing. I was so young however, that I don’t remember doing it. As a matter of fact, I was so young during all of this that I don’t even remember going to church at all, much less singing there. You see, somewhere in this era both of my parents became extremely ill. So ill in fact that we never went to church again. Thinking back now, I can’t remember when my parents were not sick. By the age of 9, I lost my father. My older sister came down from Michigan at that time to care for my Mom and me and about a year later my Mom went to be with the Lord, too and I moved to Michigan with my sister. She and her husband were not saved, I never returned to church, but they provided well for me. One of the things she did provide was guitar lessons and encouraged me to begin singing again, which I did. In high school I began to sing in rock bands and play guitar backing up several artists, some of the names I’m sure you would remember. It was not until I entered the Air Force that I began to wonder if I had even been baptized. I couldn’t be positive, so I made sure of it in basic training. My exposure to music also helped when I auditioned for the 17th Air Force Mens Chorus. I was accepted and sang baritone and toured parts of Europe and Germany performing with them. After the Air Force and several years later I wound up back close to my home town by moving to Chattanooga and it was there that I rededicated my life to Christ and began singing with the choir at Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison.
Then the opportunity to serve the Lord by joining the ministry of Redeemed Quartet was presented to me, due largely in part to my wife Helen who forged ahead and found out about their need for a singer from Dianne Walker, wife of Lonnie Walker the quartets bass singer. And this is where the Lord has led me … thank you Lord for the opportunity to serve you in song and to help build your kingdom. Thank all of you for taking the time to read this and for your support of Redeemed Quartet. It is my hope that our music ministry is a blessing to you.
Pat grew up in gospel music. From an early age he played drums with the family group and at his church. Pat has filled in for some super groups from time to time and has been a member of a few. Before joing Redeemed Quartet he was with a local group called the Chapel Tones. Pat sang tenor with them for a little over 4 years until the group disband. Pat is a true a southern gentleman. A lot of gret singers have came from Alabama. Pat is no exception he has fallen into the grove and picked up his part the quickest of anyone we have ever had.
Pat and Melinda need our prayers they give up a lot to be a part of this ministry. We are very proud to have him. If you have not saw Redeemed Quartet in a while you should, new faces all new songs and a special blend of harmony that will have you tapping your foot as they sing.

Lonnie and Dianne have traveled with some of the top Southern Gospel Groups in the industry. Their love for Christ and their calling to see souls saved through music have lead them across America for over 31 years.
Lonnie & Dianne met in October 1971 and were married in July 1972. Lonnie a Veteran of Vietnam entered the Army September 1972. Where he was quickly moved to finance school and served most of his time as a finance officer for company A, headquarters-headquarters command. He was responsible for making sure all Viet Nam personnel and their families received pay on time every month.
After service Lonnie and Dianne started their music ministry in North Carolina while they both were in college. (Dianne's home state) In 1995 Lonnie and Dianne thought their calling to travel with quartets had passed and it was time to "settle down". They left the group, (Victorious) and moved to Michigan where Lonnie took a position in a large church under senior Pastor Dr. Thomas Early. As time progressed Lonnie grew in the Lord and in responsibility as he became the Minister of Music and then the Senior Associate Pastor. His love for good harmony and quartets just would not go away. So he joined Calvary Quartet of Holland Michigan as piano and Steele guitar player. When the time came for them to move back to Tennessee they both became very involved with their church. Still Lonnie would go "sit in" with groups from time to time and lay tracks for new projects but never really felt his life was complete. One day Lonnie was in Waco TX on business on a 3 week business trip. The desire to have that close family fellowship that quartets have was so great he could hardly stand it. So he said, "God if this is your will, open the doors, send us the right people, change my job and I'll go where ever you lead." 4 days later Lonnie received a job offer so he would be free every weekend! He ran an ad in the Singing News, 17 people answered the ad. On Saturday February 3, 2006, 10:00 am, the Redeemed Quartet was formed.
God is working on the group, he has opened doors for us that we thought were impossible. In 2009 God allowed Redeemed to win more than 1 new person every week. Over 60 souls saved through Redeemed's Ministry. Praise to God!
God liad on the hearts to do more than just sing; at the end of every concert there is a short sermon with an invitation. We call this the "Save America Tour". Now in our third year the LOrd has blessed us with over 160 people being saved. We do not understand sometimes, but we trust and hold on. I'm not sure what God has in store for Redeemed Quartet but I do know He is in control, and if we will let Him, He will do more than we ever dreamed.

These are the people that really make Redeemed Quartet work. Without them we may sound good but wouldn't have anywhere to go. Most of these people volunteer their time to help the ministry. We have never had so many people so willing to give up their time and sometimes they donate money just to see this ministry reach more people. These are the people you don't see on the posters, you don't hear about on the radio or TV. But in fact these are the people that make this ministry work and without them we could not operate.
